Members companies are constantly resource constrained and face regular market pressure to develop products faster. Among FieldComm Group member companies are some that offer product development services for others.
For FOUNDATION Fieldbus products select member companies have been qualified and certified as official Development Services Partners or DSP's. A FOUNDATION DSP is a company that has met FieldComm Group’s standards for tools, training and experience to provide services for the development and registration of specific FOUNDATION product types.
HART and FDI product development services are also offered by several member companies.

The Fieldbus Foundation, a predecessor foundation to FieldComm Group, operated a formal DSP program for members. FieldComm Group continues this program for FOUNDATION products. The following companies have gone through an extensive qualification processes and actively maintains current tool sets to ensure the best, most up-to-date product solutions:
AVAILABLE DSP SERVICE OFFERINGS
As part of the Development Services Provider Program, FieldComm Group has three areas of classification for available service offerings. Each has a stringent set of requirements that are applicable to the classification.
- H1 Services - This service offering includes assistance with software, hardware or services related to H1 Field Devices, including H1 Stack, Application Layer and Device Descriptions assistance. H1 is FieldComm Group's 31.25 kbps standard signal over stranded twisted pair.
- HSE Services - This service offering includes assistance with software, hardware or services related to HSE Devices, including H1 Stack, Application Layer and Device Descriptions assistance. These devices may include HSE Field Devices, or Linking Devices. HSE is FieldComm Group's 100 Mbps High Speed Ethernet signal over common Ethernet cable.
- Host Services - This service offering includes assistance with the development of a Host System.
