Plants struggle to achieve their operational excellence goals for all departments to reduce cost, increase revenue, and reduce risk. Digital Transformation, or Industrie 4.0 or IIoT if you prefer to call it that, is a data-centric approach to run and maintain plants to become more predictive and more responsive. Digital transformation means moving from manual and paper-based ways of working to new digital, automatic, software-based, data-driven ways of working. Dashboards, analytics, platform, and sensors are required.
