The Flowserve-PMV D3 digital positioner offers unmatched performance and
reliability with a proven track record in all areas of control and
automation. Modular, scalable design allows choices of which options are
best fit for the particular application.
Standard high resolution display with local push buttons and
multi-language support: No hand held communicator is required to
calibrate or commission the D3 or set any of its options. However, if a
handheld is the preferred method of interface they are fully compatible
with the D3.
Low Air Bleed/High Performance: The D3's dual piezo design air block
means 0.01 SCFM worst case air bleed at steady state saving thousands in
compressed air cost annually. This is coupled with high air capacity
during loading and exhausting.
Fail in Place: An option for control valves or damper drives that need to
hold current position on loss of signal.
Programmable Controls Functions: Adjustable minimum position cut off
settings for tight shut off, adjustable stroke speeds, 33 point
customizable control characteristics, and split range options
Ease of Mounting: The D3 was designed to be used on any control
application on any manufactures actuator, valve or damper. Its standard
offering is either double or single acting, linear or rotary type control
valves. The D3 is backed by the largest inventory of mounting kits for
virtually every application in the industry.
Predictive Diagnostics through ValveSight: Using FDT/DTM technology, the
D3 and ValveSight will alert the operator if there are "health" issues
with the Valve, Actuator, Positioner or Control and offer solutions.
ValveSight can perform valve signatures such as off-line test including
ramp and step test which will report hysteresis, overshoot, linearity,
repeatability and accuracy to show an over all "picture" of a control
valve.
