The Rosemount 5300 Series is a smart, loop-powered level and interface
transmitter, based on guided wave radar technology. The instrument
continuously provides reliable measurements on liquids, slurries and
solids, even for severe conditions, due to advanced signal processing and
highest echo sensitivity.
Features:
* Outstanding measurement reliability and capability thanks to Direct
Switch Technology. Meaning two to five times stronger signal reflection
back to transmitter compared to other GWR improving robustness to
measure even on lowest reflective medias and longer measuring ranges.
* Reduced process penetrations and installation cost due to
Multivariable transmitter
* Highest application flexibility with a full range of probe styles
including robust solution for extreme temperatures and pressures and in
materials to handle corrosive media
* Virtually unaffected by application conditions, process changes and
minimal installation rules due to direct level measurement and signals
guided by the probe
* Minimized maintenance thanks to no mechanical moving parts, no
re-calibration required, and adjustments possible without opening tanks
with effective troubleshooting tools and removable head while tank is
in service
* +- 3 mm reference accuracy
The 5300 uses the Rosemount Radar Master the ultimate setup software that
supports both HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus. It provides easy
configuration and service thanks to user-friendly interface with wizards,
echo curve with movie feature, offline/online configuration, extensive
online help, logging capabilities and much more. But Radar Master is not
the only configuration tool for the 5300. Easy-to-use interfaces are also
available in AMS and DeltaV and basic configuration is also available in
any host that supports Device Descriptions (DD).
