From mechanics to fieldbus
The M40 converter and indicator can be used for the flow meter H250 and
the level meter BW25. It combines tried and tested mechanical measurement
technologies with latest communication capabilities like Foundation
Fieldbus when using the ESK4-FF option.
The functionality of the devices is scalable. Using the purely mechanical
indicator as a base, electronic modules can be added or replaced to scale
functions such as limit switches, analogue current output, totalizer with
LCD or communication interface like HART, Foundation Fieldbus or Profibus
PA.
The innovative construction allows a free choice of intrinsically safe,
non-incendive or explosion-proof type of protection, approved by notified
bodies for ATEX, IECEX, FM, FMC and NEPSI.
The sturdy design, available in different materials for the wetted parts,
ensures high resistance to pressure, temperature and media and stands up
to extreme application and environmental conditions.
