The 1066-DO/CL/OZ-FF transmitters represent the latest generation in a
long line of Emerson Rosemount Analytical Fieldbus Amperometric
transmitters.
The 1066-DO-FF measures dissolved oxygen (0 to 10 ppm), percent
saturation of oxygen (0 to 270 %) and oxygen in gas (0 to 100%). The
1066-CL-FF measures 3 chlorine species: free chlorine with pH
compensation, chloramines, and total chlorine in the range of 0 to 10
ppm. The 1066-OZ-FF measures ozone in the range of 0 to 10 ppm. All
three transmitters provide full comprehensive sensor, transmitter, and
calibration diagnostics, which are available to the bus via Field
Diagnostics. The Common Software Download Specification allows software
upgrades to be downloaded to the transmitter, while it is in service. As
has always been the case with our transmitters, the 1066 transmitters are
provided with a Link Active Scheduler.
3 AI Function Blocks are provided for PV, temperature, and sensitivity.
The 1066-CL-FF adds a 4th AI block for pH when configured to measure free
chlorine. An AO Function Block is provided to allow the transmitters to
use a temperature measurement from the bus for temperature compensation.
When the 1066-DO-FF transmitter is configured for measuring oxygen in gas
or percent saturation of oxygen, a second AO block is provided to allow
these pressure sensitive measurements to use a pressure measurement from
the bus for pressure compensation.
Additional Function Blocks are provided for use by the 1066 transmitter
or other transmitters on the segment, and include:
Math Function Blocks: Arithmetic and Integrator
Analog Control Function Blocks: PID Control, Input Selector, Signal
Characterizer, Control Selector, and Output Splitter.
The 1066 transmitter in housed in a NEMA 4X, ½ DIN enclosure. The local
user interface consists of a large, monochromatic LCD display, which
provides an intuitive menu, accessed using 4 function keys and 4
selection keys. The 1066 transmitter is available in a FISCO compliant
version.
