I/A Series IMV25 Pressure Transmitter

Registered Product Information

Manufacturer: Schneider Electric
Product Name: I/A Series IMV25 Pressure Transmitter
Product Description: Multivariable Pressure Transmitter
Category: Pressure
Profile: FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information: The intelligent two-wire, multivariable transmitter provides precise and reliable measurement of pressure, differential pressure, sensor and electronics temperature, and process temperature (from an external RTD). It transmits a 4 to 20 mA or digital output signal, as applicable, using FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication protocol for remote configuration, calibration, and monitoring. This all digital, serial, two-way communication system interconnects field services, such a transmitters, actuators, and controllers. It is a Local Area Network (LAN) with built-in capacity to distribute control application across the network. Fieldbus technology consists of a Physical Layer, a Communication Stack, and User Application Blocks. The communication stack includes a LAS (Link Access Scheduler), and the user application software blocks include AI (Analog Input) and PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) function blocks. Interoperability of Fieldbus devices is achieved using device addresses (IDs) and device descriptions (DDs).   Refer to: http://resource.invensys.com/instrumentation/specifications/pss/2a/2a_1c15b .pdf

Device Support File Usage

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
