Manufacturer:
ABB
Product Name:
2600T Series - Model 266Cxx / 266Jxx
Product Description:
Multivariable Transmitter
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
The 266C / 266J multivariable pressure transmitters of the 2600T series
measures mass or volume flow rate of liquid, steam or gas or level of
liquid with absolute pressure and temperature compensation. The
"multi-sensor" technology allows measurement of differential pressure,
absolute pressure and in addition process temperature via an external
RTD. One transmitter replaces three separate transmitters, not only
reducing initial purchase and installation costs, but also bringing
greater reliability due to the fewer devices and less wiring.
The flow calculation includes compensation of pressure and / or
temperature as well as more complex variables such as discharge
coefficient, thermal expansion factor, velocity of approach factor and
gas expansion factor.
The instruments support more communication protocols like: FOUNDATION
FieldbusTM, HARTTM, PROFIBUS PA® and ModbusTM and can be easily upgraded
changing only the communication module with a plug and play operation.
They feature true draft differential pressure ranges combined with high
static working pressure.

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
