Pepperl+Fuchs SE
Product Name:
LB 8110 - FB 8210
Product Description:
FF Remote I/O
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
The FF Remote I/O is designed to connect a large number of non Foundation
Fieldbus inputs and outputs in hazardous areas to the IEC 61158-2
Fieldbus.
The Remote I/O supports 40 digital inputs or 40 digital outputs or a
combination of inputs and outputs. 20 analog current inputs or outputs
and temperature inputs are also available. Inputs and outputs can be
intrinsically safe or offer more power employing increased safety
explosion protection.
The input and output modules slot into a backplane offering a highly
modular solution to all kinds of applications.
The Remote I/O is directly connected to the trunk line and is separately
powered. This enables you to drive high power solenoids from a low power
trunk.
The LB8110 device can be mounted in Zone 2 gas hazardous areas or in Zone
22 for explosion hazards caused by dust. Class 1, DIV2 applications are
also supported.
The FB 8210 device can be mounted in Zone 1 gas hazardous areas or in
Zone 21 for explosion hazards caused by dust.
A bus terminator can be activated when required. Hart communication with
suitable field devices is possible using a separate Bus. The devices are
available in IP66 GRP or stainless steel enclosures.

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
