| More Information: | Rosemount 5900 is a premium non-contact radar level gauge with custody transfer accuracy from ± 0.5 mm (0.020 in), suitable for any application in refineries and tank terminals with high requirements on level measurements. The 5900 Series comes in two versions; 5900S and 5900C, offering highest reliability for monitoring of bulk liquid assets. The 2-wire IS bus power supply makes installation convenient and safe. Rosemount 5900 series is suitable for all bulk storage tank types and products, ranging from liquefied gases, light products, heavy fuel oil and bitumen. Additionally, the 5900S offers an increased safety level and full redundancy with the unique 2-in-1 solution featuring two independent radar level gauges, sharing the same antenna / tank opening. The duplicate, galvanically isolated electronic units are located in the same housing. The 5900 gauge can be equipped with any of the following antennas, depending on tank and nozzle type: · Parabolic Antenna for general use in tanks without still-pipe. Can also be used in a demanding tank environment, to measure on sticky liquids etc · Horn Antenna for fixed roof installation without still-pipe · Still-Pipe Array Antenna, for measurement in existing still-pipes · LPG/LNG antenna for liquefied gas, such as LPG and LNG The 5900 is configured mainly using Rosemount TankMaster. In addition, easy-to-use interfaces are available in AMS and DeltaV, as well as basic configuration resources in any host that supports Device Descriptions (DD). |
