Bernard Controls supplies actuators for use in critical applications such
as nuclear power stations or oil & gas plants. Therefore, our devices are

very harsh operating conditions such as seismically active areas,

Bernard Controls actuators are designed for ON-OFF and MODULATING
operation, multiturn and quarter turn. The complete range of Bernard
Controls actuators with the INTELLI+ controls can be connected to
Foundation Fieldbus. All controls and signaling are available for the
process through Foundation Fieldbus. A local display makes commissioning
easy including Fieldbus status and in multilanguage. Moreover, with the
INTELLI+ controls and Foundation Fieldbus interface, information
regarding the operation of motorized valves can now easily be retrieved
by the maintenance /instrumentation team. Number of starts, operating
time, opening and closing torque curves are amongst a number of available
data giving a clear insight of your valve operation and increase your
chances to detect valve problems before they happen! In addition, the
NAMUR NE 107 recommendation has been integrated to offer self-monitoring
and diagnosis of the motorized valves. The alarms are categorized in 5
standard statuses by severity : Normal, Maintenance required, Out of
specification, Function check, Failure
