More Information:   The Logix 1400 Fieldbus valve positioner combines the control expertise from Honeywell and the valve expertise from Flowserve. This is a product of two technology leaders enabled by FOUNDATION fieldbus. New and existing 4-20mA valves can be interfaced via this positioner to a FOUNDATION fieldbus network and enabled to inter-operate with other Fieldbus devices forming a field resident control system. In addition to providing the Fieldbus Interface, the positioner can also perform loop control functions. Its function block set allows, in conjunction with other Honeywell and non-Honeywell FOUNDATION fieldbus-compliant devices, the formation of an extensive set of basic control applications.
