| More Information: | Application The iTEMP® TMT162 temperature field transmitter is a two-wire device with optional FOUNDATION FieldbusTM , PROFIBUS® PA or HART® protocol, two sensor inputs for resistance thermometers (RTD) and resistance transmitters (O), thermocouples (TC) and voltage transmitters (mV). The illuminated display shows the current measured value or values of remote devices digitally and as bar graph with an indicator for alarms. Features and benefits: * Highest reliability in harsh industrial environments due to dual compartment housing and compact fully potted electronics * Backlit display with large measured value, bargraph and fault condition indication for ease of reading * Dual sensor input capability e.g. 2 Pt100 3-wire or 1 Pt100 4-wire & TC * Non volatile peak indicator for min/max values * Sensor monitoring: Breakdown information, sensor backup, sensor drift alarm, threshold switch-function and corrosion detection avoids shut down and enables a quick maintenance intervention * Sensor matching: Linearization with Callendar van Dusen or polynomial-equation allowing optimal accuracy of the temperature measurement * Mathematic functions for differential average temperature add flexibility to the measurement * Operation, visualization and maintenance with PC, e.g. using Fieldcare, AMS, DeltaV, National Configurator, PDM, Yokogawa (VP, CS3000, Stardom), ABB (AC800, Freelance), Honeywell (PKS Expirion, Plantscape), Foxboro (Invensys) * High accuracy in entire operating range < (0.1°C) (0.18°F) * FISCO/FNICO-compliant in accordance with IEC 60079-27 for straightforward design of measuring points in hazardous areas * Approvals: FM and CSA (IS, NI, XP and DIP), ATEX (EEx ia, EEx nA, EEx d and dust-Ex) * Galvanic isolation 2 kV (from the sensor input to the output and the housing) * Transducer blocks provide wizards (methods) for easy and safe configuration * Output simulation for a quick and easy check of the loop * Optional: stainless steel housings for hygienic or EEx d applications |
