Metroval Controle de Fluidos Ltda
Product Name:
TDM-FF-01
Product Description:
Density Transmitter
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
The TDM-FF-01 is a density transmitter, whose technical characteristics
provide a continuous measurement of density and concentration of liquids,
liquid mixtures and multiphase fluids.
Its working principle is based on the law of harmonic oscillation. By
this principle a U-shaped tube, when electromagnetically excited, begins
to vibrate or oscillate at its natural frequency. The period of
oscillation is a function of density of the fluid flowing through the
tube. Thus, by measuring the oscillation period the fluid density can be
measured with highest accuracy.
The measurement principle as well as the rugged design of the oscillating
element make TDM-FF-01 only a little bit sensitive to the viscosity of
the liquid being measured, as well as to flow, pressure and normal
vibrations.
Moreover, it works regardless of the position of installation and
requires no maintenance.
The TDM-01 is at least as accurate as the usual laboratory instruments.
However, it allows to be operated directly in process with accuracy of
0.0002 g/cm3 and an impressive repeatability of 0.00005 g/cm3.

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
