Fieldbus Foundation radar sensor for continuous level measurement with
PVDF-encapsulated, horn or PTFE-encapsulated antenna system (K-Band,
26GHz).
The process is under control with continuous level measurement. In the
chemical and petrochemical industry, in environmental technology, in the
pharmaceutical and food industry as well as many other industries, VEGA
measurement technology provides a reliable basis for regulatory and
control functions. plics? offers products that meet all requirements for
bulk solids and liquids. Measurement with radar has particularly gained
acceptance: the technology is maintenance-free, the instruments are
compact and versatile and can be universally implemented.
VEGAPULS sensors measure with an accuracy of +/- 3mm and combine very
high reliability with low operating costs. That is not all: VEGAs
instruments for continuous radar measurement operate without touching the
medium, and remain unaffected by process pressure and temperature or gas
stratification. Two different frequencies solve any application problem:
from poor reflective properties and interfering installations to narrow
storage tanks. VEGAPULS sensors can also be used outdoors without special
restrictions, or even above plastic vessels, to measure right through the
closed vessel ceiling.
