Magtech (an Emerson Process Management business unit) now offers the same
robust and user friendly LTM-350 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter now
accommodating Fieldbus specifications. This transmitter utilizes the
same industry proven design and architecture as the LTM-350 allowing for
high reliability and performance. The LTM-350FF is compliant with the
latest FF Specifications to ITK-5.2.0 allowing the unit to have a wide
range of interoperability with host manufacturers. The LTM-350FF is
Explosion Proof for Class 1 Division 1 or 2 Groups B,C and D, permitting
the transmitter to be utilized in the most hazardous environments.
Magtech Magnestostrictive level transmitters are highly accurate, precise
and offer a variety of configuration options. The magnetostrictive
transmitter may be utilized as a direct insertion transmitter or
externally mounted to a magnetic level indicator for non-invasive level
control. Externally mounted to a magnetic level indicator, they are ideal
in high-pressure, high-temperature applications.
In direct insertion service, the sensor probe with magnetic float(s) is
inserted into a tank and as the float rises or falls with the fluid, the
transmitter provides level output. For externally mounted service, the
probe senses the float(s) inside the magnetic level indicator.
