The PDS is a two-wire intelligent pressure transmitter which adopts advanced composite micro solid silicon sensors and the modular design.
The input pressure is converted into an electrical signal by a sensor. This signal is amplified by the measuring amplifier and digitized in an analog-to-digital converter. The digital signal is analyzed in a microcontroller and corrected with regard to linearity and thermal characteristics. It is then converted in a digital-to-analog converter to the output current of 4 to 20 mA.
The PDS pressure transmitter can be used to measure liquid, gas or steam pressure, and translate pressure into a 4-to-20mA DC current output. Furthermore, with the communication equipment, the PDS pressure transmitter can achieve remote set, control and other functions.
