The PID SCAN SERIES is a new generation of photoionization gas detectors produced by GDS Instruments. This product is the world’s first photodetector with automatic cleaning and automatic zeroing functions. The product adopts a pump suction sampling method, combined with a unique ceramic polarizing ion lamp and an integrated temperature and humidity compensation sensor signal processing assembly, effectively reducing the interference of humidity on the instrument, bringing users a high stability and excellent experience of long service life.
The PID SCAN SERIES is mainly used to detect volatile organic compounds such as benzene, ketones, alcohols, gasoline, diesel, vinyl chloride, etc. in the ambient air.
The PID SCAN SERIES provides 4 to 20 mA output. This product also offers one RS485 Modbus protocol, which is compatible with the vast majority of control systems. It offers 2 sets of programmable alarm relays and 1 set of fault relays, which can be used independently as a gas detection system when paired with a local audible and visual alarm.
The PID SCAN SERIES is globally certified and can be used in harsh environments such as petrochemicals, chemicals, metallurgy, and environmental protection, with a certification level of up to ExdlCT6 Gb; Ex tD A21 IP67 T80℃.
