Product Name:
Smart Valve Positioner 700 Series
Product Description:
Valve Positioner
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
The Smart Valve Positioner 700 Series includes a diagnostic function for
monitoring the control valve to ensure safe plant operations.
The control valve diagnostic capability of the FOUNDATION Fieldbus model,
with ITK 6.1 certification, ensures safe plant operation by providing
early detection of control valve anomalies, allowing optimum control
valve maintenance scheduling. It fully complies with the Fieldbus
FOUNDATION technical specifications.
Control valve diagnostic functions:
The Smart Valve Positioner 700 Series detects abnormalities in shut-off,
the actuator spring and the gland packing friction by measuring output
pressure with a dedicated pressure sensor. It detects the Stick-Slip
movement of the control valve quantitatively using a Stick-Slip
Diagnostic algorithm. The Stick-Slip is a valve's unstable state caused
by excessive friction.
