The high performance IFC 400 electromagnetic flow converter is developed to the requirements of the process industry and provides excellent flow measurement performance.
It is certified for SIL 2/3 safety applications according to IEC 61508. The extensive diagnostics and status handling conforms to NAMUR NE 107 and assure the health of the device and vital process information.
Good examples of process diagnostics functions include detection of deposits or coating on the electrodes, medium temperature and conductivity, gas bubbles or solids, and an empty pipe.
Besides flow, also conductivity, mass flow (at constant density) and coil temperature are available measurement values.
