PACTware

PACTware (Process Automation Configuration Tool) is a program designed for the selection of communication-capable field devices from a device catalog and for the combination of the communication structure of projects in a production plant. 

FieldComm Group is a member of the PACTware consortium and provides an FDI Device Package Library with the latest PACTware version.

 

    PACTware now supports FDI Device Packages, FieldComm Group provides an FDI Device Package Library with the latest version of PACTware. Users can download additional Registered HART FDI Device Packages from FieldComm Group's Product Registry. FDI Device Packages enable the configuration of the field devices, view diagnostics, and make changes to device parameters. From within PACTware, the configuration and parameter values can be saved or printed.

    PACTware works with DTMs, which were implemented according to the FDT Specification 1.2 or 1.2.1/2.0/3.0, and FDI Device Packages implemented according to FDI Specification 1.3 or later. 

    Via CommDTM (Communication DTM) the communication with field devices is established using the HART or Profibus protocols.  The latest version of PACTware includes the HART CommDTM.

    • Windows 10 or Windows 11 and their related server versions
    • .NET Framework 4.8
    • Hardware drivers for the modems

     

    PACTware release 6.1 and later supports FDI Device Packages.

    PACTware includes a HART CommDTM for seamless connection to your HART field device.
