CONNECTING THE WORLD OF INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

We are a member organization developing global communication and interoperability standards to empower unified data-driven decision-making across process, hybrid, and factory markets.

Our Technologies Deliver Open Connectivity

Enabling sensor-to-cloud data collaboration

    Industrial Communications

Industrial communication allows data exchange between devices and control systems, promoting real-time monitoring and automation. Technologies such as HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus improve connectivity, data accuracy, and operational efficiency, while allowing multi-vendor interoperability. Advancements in connectivity include HART-IP and WirelessHART, which facilitate communication between smart instruments, actuators, and controllers. HART-IP integrates the trusted HART protocol with high-speed Ethernet for improved performance and IT/OT integration, while WirelessHART provides secure, scalable wireless connectivity through a self-organizing mesh network. Collectively, these technologies drive efficiency, enable remote monitoring, and support digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives, making industrial environments smarter and more connected.

    Device Integration and Management

Intelligent device management standards are crucial for streamlining operations and enhancing interoperability in complex manufacturing environments. These standards, particularly FDI and FDT/DTM, address the challenges of integrating diverse devices from multiple vendors across various protocols within OT engineering applications (DSC, PLC, AMS, configuration tools, etc.), enhancing intelligent device and lifecycle management initiatives.

    Enterprise Connectivity

To complete your digital transformation architecture, you need both physical and semantically meaningful protocol-independent information models. Based on the OPC UA information model, PA-DIM standardizes how device data is structured and shared, making it easily accessible for analytics, monitoring, and optimization. Ethernet-APL provides high-speed, two-wire, Ethernet-based communication with power and data over a single cable, that is installable in hazardous areas. These collaborative technologies bridge the gap between OT and IT, delivering real-time insights and enabling more intelligent decision-making that can significantly enhance the entire automation ecosystem.

    Plant of the Year Awards

Our technologies innovating the industrial automation landscape

    Daikin's - Kashima Plant

Daikin estimates that in the year leading to receiving the award the company saved approximately USD $525,000 through predictive AI detection that combines process data and HART-enabled devices.
